C'est dans cette vallée minière que j'ai réalisé ce reportage. Un pays proche du nôtre, tant dans sa géographie que par sa proximité, mais dont l'histoire a marquée l'évolution.
Un présent qui peut paraître identique à notre passé tant les conditions de vie sont précaires. Intéressé par la vie de l'homme, je me suis attardé au quotidien des mineurs. L'atmosphère est pesante jusque dans les villes, l'existence même est difficile.

I went into this mining country and spend there a bit of time to do this reportage. This country is so close to our, by the distance and geography. But history made a really different evolution. Still nowadays, their present seems to be like our past, as life is so hard, in everything. Interested in human life, I gave all importance in everyday of life. Atmosphere stay heavy even in town and existence is hard. "Here we are working for survival"...
