Entre les années 1992 et 1993 j'habitais un quartier industriel désaffecté de Los Angeles. J'y effectuais un repérage des objets incongrus et des aspects formels que je découvrais dans les matières rencontrées au cours de mes promenades.
During the years of 1992 and 1993 I lived in a Los Angeles neighbourhood located east of Chinatown and Little Tokyo, south of Dogtown, and west of the L.A. river. I did a survey of the odd objects, and of the forms that I would read in the various materials that I would encounter on my walks.
